Scott Veerkamp Challenges Franklin Township Bus Fee Lawsuit
Why is Scott Veerkamp wasting taxpayer's money?
As discussed, CIESC is collecting fees on (school buses) already paid for with Franklin Township tax dollars.
The Attorney General said the fees are unconstitutional. Unfortunately, Scott Veerkamp is ignoring the opinion of the Attorney General. As a result, he expects taxpayers to cover the expense of a lawsuit against the district.
Scott seems to have a passion for charging people unnecessary fees and taxes. Perhaps this is the reason he voted yes on proceeding with litigation. Proceeding to court will guarantee a waste of taxpayer's time and money.
Clearly, this situation is spinning out of control. The School Board is costing the community millions of dollars with bad decisions that lack common sense.
Here is an example of what I am talking about: The school buses were sold to CIESC for $1. Is this a sound financial decision considering the buses were paid for with FT tax dollars?
Perhaps it is time for the residents of Franklin Township to step forward and ask Scott Veerkamp if he sold his Hummer and his BMW for $1...
